Riverdale High

Another goal that my 10-year-old self had, visiting Archie Comics' office, was accomplished today, as evidenced by the car in the parking garage and me and Archie artist extraordinaire Stan Goldberg. Stan came and met us at the office to discuss plans for a coming Best of Stan Goldberg collection we'll be offering up next year.

Any news on when the Library of American Comics is coming out with the Archie series?

Yep, the Archie collections start in May '10, with the first Library strip book, covering 1946-1948, coming in June.

I don't know if you're at liberty to reveal this, but no harm in asking: which artists will the best-of collections cover? (I'm hoping there's a Harry Lucey collection planned at some point if the collections do all right.)

Also, are there any plans to identify the writers, inkers etc. for the reprinted stories? (I realize this might not be possible, but I don't know if Archie Comics keeps that information on file or not.)
