Picture this: a Transformers picture book for new readers

Our first TRANSFORMERS hybrid picture book/comic book is on the way in May, and since all the art is now in, I wanted to show a bit more of the look of this book. I AM OPTIMUS PRIME will be a 32-page square hardcover-with-dustjacket book. I wrote it and the art is by the Sharp Brothers. It's aimed at young readers, 4-7-year-olds, but hopefully the art and words make it worth checking out if you're older than that, too. The characters are all styled after the Robot Heroes toy line, so our hope is that the little'uns who might know of the Transformers through those toys, or even through the animated series, will take to this. And then once they're on that slippery slope of reading comic-like books, well, hopefully we've got 'em for good...
