Dru's world

For ANGEL 24 and 25, Juliet Landau is introducing Drusilla to Angel's world--that much, we've already discussed a bit. But beyond just crafting the story and co-writing the script, Juliet also had a very specific look and color palette for the art, too. Here's one of the finished pages, courtesy of Franco Urru and Fabio Mantovani.

Issue 24 will arrive just before Comic-Con, and Juliet and Brian Lynch will be signing a con-exclusive version at Comic-Con.
And issues 24 and 25 will both feature bonus pictorials of Juliet, some new photos she took exclusively for this two-part storyline.

Oh, and we'll also be announcing the new ongoing ANGEL writer at the Angel panel (Saturday from 10-11 AM, featuring Brian, Juliet, and... the new person) at the show, too. More on that to come.

So does that mean that #23 and #24 will both be released in July?

Amazing page, as expected from Franco. Mantovani's colors are amazing, really perfect for a hospital setting. Cold, harsh.

Angel ongoing ,
sounds terrific,
will the numbering continue from #24 or start with a new #1 ?
personally I would like to see a Angel #50 which would be a good achievement for as Indy publisher,

all the best mate,

we always get the comics a week after the US in NZ.

still, definitely worth the wait... I LOVE Fabio Mantovani's colouring style, such an inspiration they are!

It'll keep going. The new ongoing ANGEL writer comes on as of issue 28, after a really fun 2-parter from Lynch and Mooney that leads into the first-ever ANGEL ANNUAL. Which then leads into...

Was the Last Angel in Hell poster the cover for #26? Or the Annual?

The Annual. Issue 26 will have a good "action figure" cover. You'll see soon.

ok, so here's my question. After Brian Lynch's 17 issue run that he Co-scripted (plotted, whatever) with Joss Whedon. Is the psst-Lynch stuff considered canon or "season 6" I don't see Joss' name mentioned in the writing or co writing credits of the comics so I'm curious what his involvement is with the comic (if any) these days?

yes Aftermath is canon, whether you like it or not really. its the direct continuing storyline from after the fall.
