Since I'll be out of town for a few days and not so easily able to post images here, I thought I'd get a jump on a couple before getting on the plane. So here's a preview of this week's ANGEL 14, by Brian Lynch, Stephen Mooney and Art Lyon. This is Stephen's final issue since Franco Urru (and new colorist Fabio Mantovani) returns to the fold next month.

No offense to Stephen, but I'm glad Franco is coming back to the book. Please don't let him leave again. Neither of the replacements even came close to doing the title justice, and actually did it some harm, I thought.
No offense to Franco, but i think Stephen has been the best artist on the book so far.
Runge's work was great in parts but inconsistent and Fanco's just isn't to my taste. Mooney's storytelling has been great from start to finish, and he's the only guy to really nail the actor likeness.
Real shame this is his last issue.
