Alex: After the Fall
A little bonus today: Alex Garner's cover for ANGEL: AFTER THE FALL #9, paying subtle homage to Jack Kirby's cover for THE INCREDIBLE HULK #1 from 1962 (which you should go check out on a Google Image search after you read this).
This issue, the big "return to the After the Fall storyline" after First Night concludes, will be shipping two weeks after issue 8 in June, and features the debut of new artist Nick Runge while Franco Urru continues his work on the upcoming SPIKE: AFTER THE FALL miniseries.

WOW.
Between Joss saying Amy will now be on Dollhouse as well and this I'm having a Fredtastic day! That cover is so full of win.
I absolutely love Alex's work. You guys are doing an awesome job. I love After the Fall!
Ahhhhhhhhh. So amazing. I was kinda scared when that site revealled three photo covers and one art cover for #9, but this makes it all shiny. This is amazing. Ahhhhh I can't wait to own this.
...AWESOME...
But, someone please tell me who the girl is at the front of the whole piece? I've not been able to get my hands on *any* of the series here in Australia, so... who's she?
Fred
Well, I'm certainly chuffed!
Quick question though: Is the "First Night" storyline going to be in the pages of Angel or be a seperate, numbered miniseries?
One of the best covers yet... it's amazing!

I like this cover a lot, it has a lot of vibrant colors.
I guess the artist must be a big fan of Jack Kirby. This art I think brings out the best in Kirby's layout.

wslyswmn - where do you live?
In Melbourne Minotaur is good, Brisbane I suggest Comics etc, and Sydney Galaxy 4 I think the name is.
NuclearConvoy: Part of the "After the Fall" series, in fact the first issue of First Night came out last week.
That is a great cover.
