Is this "in fiction fictional Galaxy Quest (ie more stories from the TV show)" or "actors in fiction doing another Galaxy Quest like in the movie (with the actors in space)" thingy?
It's like the movie, the actors from the old show getting caught up in new --and funny--adventures.

Awesome! I hope they add a bit of super-realism: the geeks take over the ship before the government can get their hands on it, reverse-engineer it (with help from the ship's computer), and give the plans out for free online, bringing the world into the 23rd century. (How realistic is this? Look up the history of the PGP encryption scheme, and how it avoided the NSA lockdown.)
