Rom, space knights

Before this Labor Day weekend, some amazing labor from John Byrne and colorist Leonard O'Grady (somehow finding time, while also completing two 28-page PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL comics in record time). From the forthcoming STAR TREK ROMULANS: THE HOLLOW CROWN #1.

Cool.
If there was one complaint I could make about Spotlight: Romulans, it would be that (like many Spotlights) it was too short.

Looks like it was a prelude to something bigger. Always nice.

Awww... Not cool Chris, when I saw the post's title my heart skipped a beat.

*sigh* At least I still have my back issues.

I suppose that just means you liked it and wanted more? Because it was 22 story pages, same as most every comic out there. But John's got a third chapter planned after this 2-parter, too.

I'm right with you. I'd kill--or at least wound--to do some new ROM comics.

Dammit! Go back to using cheesy song references. They don't nearly get my hopes up as high, only to be shattered on the rocks far below.

Sorry I was too vague.
I think the Spotlights are so good a story that the 22 pages doesn't seem like enough.

If only it were a new Rom comic by Byrne! Still, Romulans is good too. Luckily I didn’t get my hopes up that this post was about Rom because I came here via TrekWeb’s link.

If there is, and I ain't confirming anything, I would pursue that like crazy.

Hasbro doesn't own the rights to ROM Space Knight, so who does? The Dire Wraiths couldn't be in the IDW comic. Back Issue #32, coming out in January 2009, will feature articles on both Rom and Bill Mantlo.
