Following yesterday's ANGEL 13 preview, let me give a glimpse at a book even further in the future, ANGEL #15, featuring the triumphant return of Franco Urru to the book (now accompanied by Fabio Mantovani on colors). Is this page a glimpse of things to come in the issue? A prophetic vision? Angel after a night out on the town? I ain't saying...

Beyond wonderful. Beyond glad to have Franco back. And Fabio on colors is fantastic, fantastic news.

I don't want to get my hopes up, but... this looks like a good colouring job for a change. Please let that be true of the rest of Fabio's work, too... *crosses fingers* And Franco's art is only getting better.

If I'm not mistaken, didn't Fabio color (and pencil) the GWEN bit from #8? *goes to check* Yup, and he also colored the GUNN story. He does great work--his colors are realistic, but still hop off the page and are lively, and I'm happy to have him on my favorite book. Lyon's coloring really, really didn't do it for me, and this is definitely closer to the early coloring in the series, though a bit more gritty and realistic, which is cool.

Wow! Fantastic work! Is that a vision again... or reality...
